their website explains it in more detail. If you live in the area they can convert your car/truck/RV etc. http://www.frybrid.com/frybrid.htm to

Play for science!
Another game!
this one is entitled "Fold It!"
You are a scientist helping scientist discover new ways to fold proteins to create new proteins.
NOW quick biology lesson:
Proteins are the workhorses in every cell of every living thing. Your body is made up of trillions of cells, of all different kinds: muscle cells, brain cells, blood cells, and more. Inside those cells, proteins are allowing your body to do what it does: break down food to power your muscles, send signals through your brain that control the body, and transport nutrients through your blood. Proteins come in thousands of different varieties, but they all have a lot in common. For instance, they're made of the same stuff: every protein consists of a long chain of joined-together amino acids.
So in the game your given a protein, which you have to manipulate (With A CLICK of A Mouse) so that there are no "clashes"- which are places in the protein where their 'strings' are too close to one another.
1 Download and play the game http://fold.it/portal/adobe_main/
(look at the top right corner and choose either Mac or Windows)
2 Create A Free Account and play a lot
3 Go to either the 'PLAYERS' tab or the 'PUZZLES' tab and try to beat everyones score!
(this is global by the way!)
GOOD LUCK! ^_^ (i just started so I'm not too far in - but I'll race you!)

doggies and kitties and little pigs too!
recently i saw a disturbing documentary called "Earthlings" (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1282796533661048967) about the treatment of animals in society around the world today. it's very interesting and informative but also very blunt and straight forward. i only got as far as how they "took care of the stray overpopulation in turkey" so if you have a strong stomach, or even if you can only last for the first 10 mins, please, go ahead and educate yourself.
on a less descriptive note . . .
here are 80 ways you can do your part to help our animals!

Nothing But Nets
http://www.nothingbutnets.net/its-easy-to-help/wmd
Another really fun game, this time you are on a bike delivering mosquito nets to African Families. These nets help prevent mosquito bites that may cause Malaria in African countries.
For every time you play they send a net to help the African people. You can also donate from as much as $1,000 to $5 or even less. Help cover a Continent ^_^

Eat More Carrots!
so what is the best way to help the environment? You can recycle, buy recycled goods, carpool, or even buy eco-friendly appliances/cars.
But what do you do if your not in a position where you can grab a ride to work or your community doesn't recycle or better yet your broke?
EAT MORE CARROTS! and eat less meat.
The water needed to package and cook meat along with the methane produced from raising animals for food is a major problem for our environment. And you'll find that you have more options than you think! (it's also a cheaper)
now this is a video is from one of those gentleman talk shows about politics, and he's calling Al Gore a hypocrite for not becoming a vegetarian but if you can get passed all that the PETA gentleman has some great information about vegetarianism and the benefits that come with the lifestyle.
Now i'm not expecting anyone to just stop eating meat and become a full vegetarian right now, but maybe having a meal without meat isn't so hard.
Or if your dead set on helping the environment in this way the best thing you can do is become a Vegan, one who doesn't eat any animal products - i.e. meat, milk, cheese, cream, eggs, etc.
Whatever you do just think about it beforehand and get as much information on your diet as possible!

Even A Kid Could Do It!
And they are! The Kiwi Conservation Club (KCC) of New Zealand is a project started by the largest conservation organization
in New Zealand, The Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society - http://www.forestandbird.org.nz/ They sell the KCC magazine, which focuses on children learning about their environment and how to keep it safe. Something really unique i liked about this magazine is that it incorporates readers/members drawings in their magazine!
Even if you don't live in New Zealand the website is worth checking out. It has a neat questionnaire to see if you are doing all you can to help save the world! Also really great activities like coloring pages and a Nature quiz.
http://www.kcc.org.nz/index.asp
The Kiwi Conservation Club Code:
I will LOVE and CARE for my Natural World
- the native plants and animals,
and places where they live.
I CAN make a Difference!

give it a thought . . .
there's always the question posed with is Global Warming really happening?
or are we just going though a normal cycle of weather?
i mean if you pay a scientist enough he/she can prove anything is good for you or our world.
WELL, no matter what your stance is theres always the posed threat what if i'm wrong what if WE'RE wrong . . .
well let's think about it from a mathematical stance . . . .
interesting huh? THINK.
